Scientific Guidelines


For Faculty Delegates and Post-Graduates

  • The presenter should be an IACDE member and must have registered for the PG convention.
  • Abstract should be structured and should have a maximum of 250 words.
  • Scientific presentations should be original and should not be published or previously presented in any forum.
  • The presentation should be from any one of the following fields: Dental materials, Restorative dentistry, Aesthetic dentistry, and Endodontics.
  • Paper/e-poster can be an original research, systematic review, or case study/series. Narrative reviews will not be accepted.
  • The paper/e-poster presentation should be in Power point [MS Office 2007] format.
  • Times New Roman style and 14 font size with white background should be used for paper presentation (PPT).
  • E-poster should have only one PPT slide in Landscape orientation and kindly use HD images (minimum 300 dpi resolution) with appropriate background for the same.
  • Each participant can only present either one paper or a poster.
  • Faculty delegate can present only scientific paper.
  • The maximum number of students sharing a paper should be only two and an e-poster should be only three.
  • Last date for submission of abstract is 15th March 2025.
  • Scientific committee holds the rights of accepting or rejecting the abstracts.
  • Final presentation (paper/e-poster) should be submitted through online by 30th March 2025.
  • Time limit for paper – 8 minutes presentation and 2 minutes discussion.
  • Time limit for e-poster – 3 minutes presentation and 2 minutes discussion.
  • There should not be any mention of the name of the presenter, guide, or the institution in any of the presentation slides.
  • Time limit for Delegate paper presentation 10 minutes + 2 minutes for discussion.

Table Clinic Guidelines

25th IACDE National PG Convention
Silver Jubilee year of IACDE PG Convention.

  • Kindly submit the abstract of your table clinic presentation topic on or before 15th March 2025.
  • Limited participant teams only.
  • Abstracts should contain no more than 250 words.
  • Topic of the table clinic should be innovative and related to conservative dentistry and endodontics.
  • Each group will consist of a maximum of 2 participants.
  • Time limit: 10 minutes (7 minutes for the participants to explain their model and 3 minutes for judges question answer rounds).
  • Participants are required to present a table top display model/poster.
  • Table clinic should present information in an interesting and educational way using display materials handouts and an oral presentation.
  • Participants must report to the table clinic area in the exhibition hall half an hour before the judging session begins in order to set-up their clinics in time.
  • Displays should be limited to the top of the table. They should not be placed on the floor or on walls.
  • Students must remain at the table at all times during the judging session.
  • Name of the students or college must not be visible on the exhibit or any materials during the judging session.
